Warrior Wrestling welcomes all students to participate in learning wrestling techniques and skills, as well as improving their body awareness and fitness levels. Suitable for beginners (little to no experience), and intermediate (previous wrestling experience and competition).
Sessions will cover the fundamentals of wrestling and aims to also develop strength and conditioning. Classes will cover proper wrestling stance, a variety of offensive and defensive attacks, ground technique and mat strategy. Classes incorporate individual practice, partner work, scrimmage, and fitness/conditioning.

Do you offer free try-it sessions?
Yes! Your first 3 classes are free to try. Please use this link here to sign-up. Check-in with the instructor before you get on the mat.
Are you open to the public?
Unfortunately, our club is only open to individuals registered as students at the University of Waterloo
Can I come during co-op?
Yep! You can still come even if you are on a work term!
Will you be active in Spring/Summer 2025?
Yes! We have practise Sunday and Thursday from 8pm to 10pm
What should I wear on my first day?
Wear something comfortable like a t-shirt and pants. Try to avoid items with pockets. The mats we use are rough so please wear sweatpants, knee pads or anything else that can protect your knees.
